The art installation

The exhibition ran from 9-20 June, Mon-Sun 11am - 7pm

Gene Meme raised funds for Street Child Africa enabling them to offer 10 street children in Ghana a year's apprenticeship including food, accommodation and healthcare to help raise them out of poverty.

50 beautiful and compelling paintings replicate and mutate, evolving from simple cells to complex crowds. Like genes, they proliferate without conscience, overwhelming the space they occupy.

50 pieces of exquisitely-crafted prose remember past societies whose rapid growth caused a collapse which was all too predictable, all too preventable, a simple repetition of previous failure
